Welcome to the Junior Premier League
Thank you for your interest in the Junior Premier League.
JPL Australia is launching in 2026 — and we’re now inviting expressions of interest from clubs ready to be part of a national, development-focused football competition.
The JPL is designed for clubs that place genuine value on player development, structured competition, and a well-organised football environment.
Who can apply?
We welcome applications from clubs, academies, and schools with teams in the U8 to U18 age groups (boys and girls).
Teams are not required to enter every age group — you can nominate only the ones that fit your current structure and capacity.

Key Entry Expectations
To help create the right environment, participating clubs are expected to:
- Provide qualified coaches and safe facilities
- Nominate teams ready to compete regularly and reliably
- Meet registration deadlines and respond to league communications
- Uphold JPL values around respect, development and matchday standards
A detailed information pack and operational guide will be provided upon acceptance.

If your club is interested in joining the JPL, submit an Expression of Interest using the link below.
EOIs are non-binding and help us plan the structure of each competition.
We will follow up with all interested clubs to provide next steps and support.
Key Dates and Fees
2026 Season
- Start: 15 February
- End of state regular season: late August
- State Finals: early September
- National Finals: late September
Key Pre-Season Dates
- 30 September 2025 – Deadline to register your club (teams to be nominated later)
- 21 November 2025 – Team registration opens + player registrations begin
- 19 December 2025 – Draft fixture released
- 30 January 2026 – Final deadline for player registrations + final fixture released
- 6 February 2026 – Final deadline for all payments (team and player fee
Registration Fees
- U8 to U12: AUD 300
- U13 to U18: AUD 500
Team/Club Fees
- AUD 200 per team, with a club cap of AUD 1600.
How Registrations work?
Clubs submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) using the form linked above. Once received, we will contact the club with instructions for the next steps.
Players will register individually through our competition platform from 17 November 2025.
