For Players

Ready for a New Football Challenge?

You love the game. You want to improve. You’re looking for the next step.

The Junior Premier League is a new national competition in Australia designed for players who are serious about their development. It’s about consistent games, high standards, and the chance to grow — both on and off the pitch.

Each season, JPL teams will compete across multiple states, with opportunities to qualify for National Finals and be considered for All-Stars representative teams.

To join the JPL, you’ll need to play for a club that is part of the league in your region.

Support Your Child’s Football Journey

The JPL is designed with one goal in mind: better football environments for young players.

That means a season of regular games, clear age formats, and a focus on learning, not just results. It also means being part of a national community that values respect, responsibility and player wellbeing.

In future seasons, players may also be selected for state or national representative opportunities — including possible international tours and showcase events through the JPL global network.

To participate, your child must register with a club that competes in the JPL. Club trials and EOIs are managed directly by each club.
