JPL Warriors & Inspire Are Proud To Announce Our Ambassador Chloe Morgan

Chloe Morgan joins forces with the JPL Warriors & Inspire Leagues as an Ambassador to champion the meteoric rise of young women’s football

Professional footballer for Crystal Palace Women and Winner of the 2021 DIVA Sports Star of the Year Award, Chloe Morgan has joined forces with the JPL Warriors and Inspire Leagues to create a dynamic partnership that is going to offer player pathways and the best coaching standards to highlight and champion young female football players and talent.

The JPL Warriors & Inspire leagues, along with Chloe’s support, give young females the opportunity to play against the highest standard girls teams outside of the Regional Talent Club network in order to accelerate development in an environment that will excite coaches, players, and parents. JPL Warriors works alongside pro clubs to offer and maintain the highest coaching standards.

We look forward to working alongside Chloe to champion the meteoric rise & revolution of girls & young women’s football in England.

Warriors History

The JPL had long sought to create a league for the very pinnacle of girls’ clubs outside of the Elite Regional Talent Clubs – so when they were approached by a number of professional football clubs to offer an elite environment for female players, they seized the moment and two of the most talented and prestigious girl’s divisions in the U.K. launched.

The JPL Warriors League will grow to 4 Divisions in Autumn 2021 and includes Tottenham Hotspurs, Watford, West Ham, Crystal Palace, London Bees, Millwall Lionesses, Queens Park Rangers, AFC Bournemouth, Yeovil United, and Wimbledon AFC along with other very high-quality girls teams that hit the standards expected to be in this amazing league.

The JPL has already had meetings with the Talent ID Team at the FA about our proposed new league structure and will be working closely with them to ensure we continue to produce players that can progress into the U16 Lionesses pathway.

About the JPL

The JPL is a player championing league with the highest coaching standards in England. They have always hero-ed development over results and are the only English League to have a long-standing requirement of 50% minimum playing time for all players. JPL has a national first in class reputation for player advancement in youth football and matches are played over 4 periods to maximise the coaching time granted (similar to professional academies) allowing for enhanced strategic player development.

JPL Inspire League

The JPL Inspire League is the culmination of a 2-year plan to create a league for girl’s teams to enjoy their football in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.

The league will be played exclusively at handpicked venues on 3G pitches across London to allow for a consistent games program across multiple sites with great facilities.

JPL Inspire Girls League champions the same player first ethos of the JPL with innovative rules guaranteeing a minimum of 50% playing time for all players and matches played over multiple periods rather than halves, so allowing a calmer and inclusive match day environment.

Teams in JPL Inspire will have the chance to play against our JPL Warriors in an exciting cup competition and at Super Sunday’s events, we want to make football cool and fun for everyone involved and build a community of girls and their families enjoying all that’s great about girls football.

JPL Inspire and JPL Warriors Leagues are powered by a decade of JPL experience in developing the best league in England, allowing us to deliver a benchmark for girls’ competitive and professional leagues. To further increase opportunities for advancement JPL Girls will be creating representative teams in each division to play their national and international counterparts in annual tournaments.

Welcome to JPL Warriors & Inspire Leagues – a dynamic girls’ football ecosystem to champion the meteoric rise of girls’ football.

The JPL has always prided itself on being a player-led league and we have always enjoyed championing the achievements of our players. We felt that we wanted to give the Girls playing in our league their own divisions and identity so we could hero their achievements and expand what we do.

JPL Inspire coming soon

The JPL is proud to launch the JPL Inspire League, our first dedicated competitive regional girls league.

The JPL Inspire League launches in London in September 2021. Our hub-based model is across 3 premium 3G facilities providing players the best possible environment to develop their love of the game and supporting busy parents with less drive time and premium facilities.

To start we will offer divisions for U10, U12, U14, and U16. We’ve also looked to modernise the classic English league structure to meet the needs of today’s players.

Our Head of Girls football, Pamela Johnson will work closely with the FA Talent ID Team to spot potential Lionesses and ensure they are on the right development path.

JPL Inspire is an exciting addition to the national family of JPL leagues across England offering the highest standards within youth football. Our aim is to offer the players and coaches the opportunity to develop in an environment that has been developed through over a decade of experience running player-focused leagues.

Our development over results model sees our players reaching the highest level of football across the country. Many of our players already playing in the JPL have progressed into the elite pathway.

Please email enquiries@junior-premier.co.uk for further details on how to be involved in the best new girls league in London.

Yorkshire RTC

The Junior Premier League is delighted to announce our latest Regional Talent Centre which has been established in Yorkshire.

This new centre (formally HD Select) which was formed in 2018, is now part of the Junior Premier League network of ten Regional Talent Centres across the country. Yorkshire RTC is currently working with over 100 talented players aged 10 to 18 from across the County and are to increase to 150 players in readiness for the 2021/22 season.

With a philosophy summarised as ‘Be the best, you can be’ the club’s primary aim is to help talented players to reach their potential and progress as far up the football pyramid as possible.

In addition to successfully supporting the development players onto professional academy programmes, the club works in partnership with Emley AFC who as an established semi-professional club, provide players with opportunities to progress into high-level non-league football.

A fantastic team of experienced and professional coaches deliver high-quality coaching sessions, against a comprehensive training syllabus. Whilst the training sessions require the players to demonstrate professional discipline, the coaching staff also ensure the players have fun. Feedback is provided throughout the season based on the FA four corners development model and the latest video technology (VEO) is used to record games and analyse team and player performance.

Further information is available at www.yorkshirertc.co.uk or via the centre’s social media platforms.
Interested Players can also request a series of Taster Sessions by completing the online form here

Junior Premier League welcomes STATSports as official partner

Junior Premier League welcomes STATSports as official partner

STATSports, the football industry’s leading provider of GPS wearable technology, has entered into a ground-breaking new partnership with the Junior Premier League.

This partnership will see STATSports provide JPL clubs with the opportunity to improve performance with the best GPS technology available on the market, including exciting new initiatives to help teams develop training and matchday performance.

The STATSports APEX Athlete Series product – a GPS device worn between the shoulder blades inside a black performance vest – features the same technology used by many of the biggest teams in world football, including Liverpool, Manchester United, PSG, and the England, Germany and Brazilian national teams. The product also proved very effective in helping elite players maintain fitness levels during the UK-wide lockdown in spring 2020, with regular use by high-profile players such as Raheem Sterling and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain.

Martin Brock, Chairman and CEO of the Junior Premier League said, “We’re excited to be working more closely with STATSports through this partnership. The culture of the JPL is entirely development-focused and we’re always looking at ways we can innovate in English youth football. Inspiring the 20,000 players who compete in the JPL to approach their football development in a new way is something we’ve been considering for some time. As the only league in the country to be designated as an FA Licensed Coaches’ Club league, the JPL has high minimum standards in terms of coaching qualifications. This partnership will help stimulate footballer and coach development while creating stories which contextualise player performance across the JPL’s age groups, so is something we believe will strengthen the relationship between player and coach, coach and parent and parent and player”.

Sean O’Connor, Co-Founder of STATSports added, “We are delighted to be working with the Junior
Premier League through this partnership. As a competition which concentrates on a high quality of
under-age football, we’re really looking forward to helping Junior Premier League teams track and
improve their performances throughout the season with our technology. Our APEX Athlete Series
product is something all JPL players, coaches and parents can engage with to help improve
performance, in pre-season or lockdown periods as well as during the season.”

To celebrate the launch of this partnership, STATSports are offering their APEX Athlete Series
product for a special 40% discounted price of £150 until 7th December. To claim this offer
enter the code JPL50 on the STATSports website.
