London & South East’s U14s kicked off the All Stars season in style, travelling to the prestigious Chelsea FC training ground at Cobham, an incredible experience for all involved. The match lived up to expectations, with both teams showing real quality and intensity from the first whistle. End-to-end football saw each side create dangerous attacking moments, but strong defensive performances kept the score level for much of the game.
It took a composed brace from ALL-STARS’ Albert Yaxley, with goals coming either side of half-time, to finally break the deadlock and secure a well-earned victory for the JPL side. A fantastic start to the campaign and a proud moment for the players and coaches alike.
We can’t wait to see our other age groups take to the pitch in the coming weeks!
