A well controlled performance from Hereford
On what was a mild morning with the wet conditions underneath. Hereford welcomed PJSS to Wellington in what looked to be an exciting encounter.
Both teams looked to play football from the onset, with PJSS taking the lead early on, due to the young Hereford side trying to over-play at the back. However, the young bulls showed good character to bounce back and keep on playing. They found there way back into the game with Joe Lloyd scoring twice to take Hereford into the first break leading 2-1.
The second quarter saw chances falling both ways but neither creating clear chances. Hereford happy to control the game and dictate the tempo. It finished as it started 2-1 to the home side.
The third quarter saw the home side raise the tempo and start asserting themselves on the game. Two goals from Sam Field, a goal from Luke Bayliss and a Penalty from Sasha Bhangoo taking the Hereford side into a 6-1 lead after the third quarter.
Hereford looked to control the game, again dictating the tempo and making sure that the rear-guard didn't have much to deal with. Hereford managed to extend there lead, with Joe completing his hat-trick, Sam Barber getting himself on the score-sheet as well as Sam Field completing his hat-trick with what was the last kick of the game.
A well controlled game from Hereford to see there form increase as they complete a great performance. Good luck for the rest of the season to PJSS and look forward to seeing you in the reverse fixture.
