The Albion Foundation vs Birmingham St Georges RTC
The first quarter wasevenly contested, with BSG finding the early chances on goal from some brilliant counter attacking football. The game was edging in theit favour, with countless number of breaks forcing some chances and saves from WBA 'Keeper, Cobie Whyte. The break through however came against the run of play, with Dylan Hawthorne-Smith being brought down inside the box on 18 Minutes. Dylan stepped up and finished the penalty well, low to the 'Keepers right hand side. The quarter finished 1-0 to WBA.
WBA started slowly again in the second quarter, with BSG still creating chances. WBA though began to get a hold of the game and the possession of the football. Chances for both sides meant that for the neutral, the Game would have been an excellent contest to watch. WBA did however extend their lead. A peach of a ball from Harrison Lloyd played through an unmarked Noah Payne who slotted home from just inside the box. 2-0 to WBA at Half-Time.
The Second have was started vibrantly by WBA. They showed an ability to keep the football and wait for the right opportunity to find the pass. A succession of chances followed the good play and WBA took their chances well scoring a further 2 Goals. Dylan Hawthorne-Smith grabbing both of the Goals with his Hat-Trick being completed with an absolute rocket from 25 Yards. 4-0 going into the last quarter.
The Final Quarter was a good contest again with both teams running their blood to water to try and make things happen for their team. The game finished 4-0 to WBA who want to say a massive thank you to Birmingham St Georges for the way they played the game and for being brilliant visitors throughout.
