Match Report

BIC 10-0 Birmingham

BIC welcomed Birmingham to Bristol and a 3g pitch to ensure the game was played after bad weather. BIC started Q1 as they meant to go on and scored twice through Elijah Morrison and Jaheim Zion.

Q2 was a tighter affair with no goals and Birmingham defended very well with their goalkeeper making two fantastic saves also.

In Q3 the home team took control creating lots of opportunities and scored through DJ Coles, Lawrence Mitchell, Ephraim Yeboah and Brad Selwood. Birmingham didn't give up and tried to drive forward on several occasions but there was no way through the compact BIC defence.

With tired legs in the way team BIC scored good individual goals in Q4 as spaces opened up through Fred Thorn,  Jake Hicks and Jaheim Zion.

It was a professional and ruthless display from the home team who extend their 100% record this season. Huge credit should go to Birmingham for a well spirited display which could have resulted in a couple of goals too, particularly with some u13s playing up a year. Well done to them and we look forward to our visit to Birmingham in the new year.
