Match Report

St Georges Go Down Fighting

We welcomed Coventry to the NBA for what turned out to be a very good game of football.

BstG started strongly and took the game to Coventry from the first whistle. In fact it was against the run of play in the first quarter that Coventry took the lead.

The second quarter was a fairly even affair with BstG equalising early in the quarter. The score at Half Time 1-1.

It was refreshing for the BstG Management to have a full squad available after all their recent injury problems and the third quarter was again fairly even with good football being played on both sides. The score at the end of Q3 remained 1-1.

Into the final quarter and Coventry started the quicker, scoring early. The game really opened up, with chances at both ends. Coventry scored again to seal the win.

A good competitive game, played in the right manner by two teams trying to play the right way. Lots of positives in the way BstG played today, to take into the coming weeks. Good luck to Chloe and Coventry for the rest of the season.
