The Junior Premier League Qatar (JPL Qatar) brings the world’s largest youth football network to the heart of the GCC, combining international best practices with the passion, energy, and ambition that define football across the region.
As part of the global Junior Premier League, established in England in 2011, JPL Qatar gives young players the opportunity to experience elite football in a fun, inclusive, and professional environment. Our mission is to bridge the gap between grassroots and professional football, creating clear development pathways for players of all abilities to thrive and reach their potential.
Through structured competition, professional coaching, and a culture built on respect and teamwork, we empower young athletes to grow in confidence, skill, and character. From their first touch to future stardom, every player in JPL Qatar learns the values of discipline, sportsmanship, and dedication that last far beyond the pitch.
With a growing number of boys’, girls’, and academy leagues, JPL Qatar is more than a league - it’s a community. We connect families, schools, and clubs through a shared passion for football, inspiring the next generation to dream big, work hard, and play with purpose.
The Junior Premier League Qatar stands at the forefront of youth football in the GCC; ambitious, inclusive, and ready to inspire tomorrow’s champions.

Our flagship JPL Academy League is delivered at the brand-new, state-of-the-art Aspire Pitches, providing a high-quality competitive environment for boys and girls from U9 (2017) through to U17 (2009). The league offers an inclusive and structured platform where young players can develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
Alongside this, we run regular U7 and U8 football festivals at Lusail SC, designed to introduce younger players to competition in a fun, positive, and pressure-free setting. These festivals focus on enjoyment, participation, and age-appropriate development ensuring every child feels happy, supported, and motivated to improve.
The Qatar Women’s WARRIORS Premier League offers a high-quality 11-a-side competition in an inclusive and supportive environment, led by some of the most experienced coaches in women’s football in Qatar. The league forms a key part of the JPL WARRIORS development pathway, providing a clear progression for U16 players as they transition into the senior game, many of whom are already competing week in, week out.
For men, the Doha Amateur Football League provides a competitive platform for committed players looking to continue their football journey. Designed to challenge and develop talent, the league creates real opportunities for players aspiring to reach the professional level in Qatar, helping them gain valuable match exposure and stand out within the local football landscape.

JPL Sports is not only dedicated to local leagues but also fosters regional and international connections. We host various events across the GCC for all age groups, including our renowned annual JPL WARRIORS World Cup, held every April in Qatar, where girls' teams from around the world compete.
